Exterior design pursues design beauty that combines a lightweight design with sensual performance based on aerodynamic performance and a low center of gravity package.
The low center of gravity, made possible by the horizontally opposed engine, allowed the hood to be lower than ever seen before. Flared fenders draw attention to the front and rear tires, evoking a sense of agility and sensual sophistication. Especially attractive is the glamorous rear fender when viewed from the driver seat via the outside mirrors. Normally during the development stage, styling is refined to appeal to as many people as possible, by holding multiple design-review events.
